As there are a number of people coming into the SF, Oakland and San Jose areas and there will be a lot of gear, I'm thinking of renting a cargo / passenger van to make a trip beginning @ SFO, then SF, Oakland and finally San Jose and then up to the gathering. The time and schedule would depend on who needs a ride and when. If my plan works out, to make for as much room as possible, I'll be heading up to Cutters Wednesday to drop off a load of gear and then back to the Vulcan for the nite.
So, does anyone know of anyone who has a large van with lots of seats and room for people and supplies we could hire?

Fri, April 25, 2008 - 1:16 AMMay I go ahead and volunteer to be the first to assist in funding said cargo van, as I am still without a means of getting from San Fran to FD and Back. I don't have a place to stay in SF yet either, but that's a different bridge I'll cross when I have to. -

I'm gonna be crashing at the Vulcan, and would be very interested in any sort of ride that could happen, either from SFO to the Vulcan or from the Vulcan to Firedrums. And then back. So I guess if you guys get a van thing together, I'd be interested in helping out. I don't really have a ton of money after paying for my flight, but I can definitely pay my share. Thanks! -

I'll be heading up early Thursday morning to get things set.
So I'll load up as much of everyone's gear as I can at the Vulcan and make room for as many as possible to leave with the caravan heading out mid day.
If needed, I'm gonna hire a production assistant I know from East Bay to make pick ups for those coming in later.
So I need to know specifics, , and please include a contact number or some way to get in touch.

Mon, April 28, 2008 - 6:36 PMI'm definitely interested in the ride share from either SF or SJ and pitching in some mula for it. I can hop a flight from Orange County in So Cal on Thrusday evening around 9pm with an arrival time at 10:15pm. I haven't bought my plane ticket yet to allow for more flexibility with your plan, Sky. I can fly into either airport.
Also, I'll need a ride to the aiport on Sunday too. I can depart from SF or SJ at any time that is most feasible for the majority of travelers.
Any suggestions all? I'd like to purchase my plane tiks on Tuesday, tomorrow.
