Do you think it'd be better/cheaper to wait until Firedrums to buy my first fire poi set, or just get some online (I found some nice ones I like for $40) before the event? I don't know how much fire poi usually go for, and I wouldn't mind spending the $40 unless I can get them a lot cheaper at FD.
But yes, in response to the actual thread, I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!! :D -

You can test their products! Win! Not on fire but you know/
Not sure about the price, but I assume you could get a set for a fairly inexpensive price too!

There are many different aspects to search for when shopping for fire gear and it all comes down to your own personal preference for how you would like your fire poi. I would recommend waiting for FireDrums so you will be able to shop around and see which Fire Gear Manufacturer creates the set that caters best to what you are looking for.
There will be many different businesses there showing off their wares. The new list of vendors will be posted on the FireDrums website under General Info shortly. This will be a good chance to get an idea for what will be at FireDrums by vising the links to the vendor's websites.
Please note that my website for Burning Passion ( www.burningpassion.com ) is still under construction. There has been a lot of extensive work being put into it and we are working hard on getting it done before FireDrums. We will be carrying 21 variations on fire poi and many other quality crafted fire props.
Time for rest, I've been building fire poi until the sun rose!
