if you want something pretty non-fire ones check out flowtoys thats where i got mine from.. Prisna is awesome, there are some pretty wicked videos of her dancing. but if you want a fire want i think there is a company in like Switzerland(ill think of the name and get back to you)? that makes them.. though i do know i saw some people carrying around fire ones over the weekend.. just not sure which of the vendors was selling them!?

Salza from Sweden sells double ended flow wands and calls them Levi-sticks. Sort of not the same thing but still awesome, just in a different way.

I'm pretty sure it was trick concepts who was selling fire flow wands @ FD so I guess they don't have it online yet..

Yeah, flow toys is the origin of flow wands. That salza site just scans other websites and copies their equipment. Were you looking for daytime wants, or fire versions?

I would definitely go with the Trick Concepts Fire Wand--just drop them an email about it. I got a fire wand at FireDrums from them and it's awesome! It handles very well, very similar to the Flow Wand. Enjoy it!

same with me, trick concept's fire wand is a good one. but you'd rather use it with white gas or some lighter fuel, not lamp oil, that's too heavy and makes the kevlar top turn downward before and for some time after lighting it up.

That's why i went double ended. the ends burn evenly and there's no weight distribution shifts.

odd, the salza stick is designed the same way.

Hunh, it's been years since I visited them. Someone told me my designs were getting copied and I had to see. Sure enough, they were making carbon copies of all the other popular fire equipment (Riz, Lux, HOP, etc) too. I wonder if someone else has that design too. Mine's not up on the site, I'd rather not step on the toes of some other maker. That's why I've held off planning a production model for so long, I wanted to make sure it was cool with Sean first.

I know Jaz did some crazy engineering to get it to balance properly whether it's fueled or not, making it suitable for practice, so I'd check with them to really get the lowdown on fuel specifics. I wouldn't put it past him to have also made it balance with both white gas and lamp oil as well.

I was working in the Trick Concepts booth.

The fire wands (with wicking) are very new and will be on their site soon.

I would highly suggest contacting them about ordering one for now: www.trickconcepts.com/ContactUs.aspx

They were very popular and the one that sold there took several versions to get the weight of it just right. I don't use wands but the reaction of wand performers was that their balance was very good in comparison to many others they've used.
